Analytical Technical Lead – Agriculture Services

What is on offer?

Alfred H Knight has an opportunity for an Analytical Technical Lead – Agriculture Services to join our Agricultural Services Department. You will be responsible for the technical oversight, delivery, execution and development of new and emerging agriculture analytical services across the AHK Group.

Do you have what it takes?

To be successful at Alfred H Knight you will need to display the following:

 

Required Knowledge and Work Experience

Required Knowledge

  • In-depth knowledge of Quality Management Systems, (ISO17025, GLPs, and regulated environments).
  • Nutritional chemistry including wet chemistry methods, titrations, and instrumental analysis (Combustion, ICP, GC, HPLC).
  • Residue analysis for Mycotoxins/Pesticides/Antibiotics and other chemical contaminants using GC/MS, GC/MSMS, LC/MSMS, ICP/MS.
  • GMO and Allergen analysis via PCR/ELISA.
  • Microbiological testing through traditional plating or rapid platforms.

 

Required Work Experience

  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in the Agriculture analytical testing field , managing lab networks.
  • Experience in the Agriculture Testing, Inspection and Certification industry.
  • Experience and history leading cost and operational efficiency strategies.
  • History of publications, White papers and public presentations.

 

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science: in Chemistry, Biology, or Agriculture sciences.

 

Travel Rotations

  • This role will require overseas travel.
