What is on offer?

Alfred H Knight has an exciting opportunity for a Cleaner to join the team at our AHK Energy Services based in Dundonald.  The role is to ensure an effective and efficient operation of cleaning services within AHKES by following the documented cleaning schedule for the site.  This is a part-time position working 16 hours per week.

Do you have what it takes?

To be successful at Alfred H Knight, you will need to display the following:


  • Ensure the documented cleaning schedule is followed.
  • Polish and dust office.
  • Hoover and mop floors – offices.
  • Ensure all toilets, showers and locker rooms are kept clean and replenished on a regular basis.
  • Polish glass on the doors and windows.
  • Collect rubbish and throw it in the skip.
  • Empty the recycle bins and shredders.
  • Clean all kitchen facilities.
  • Re-stock kitchens.
  • Report any incident or accident.
  • To wear any protective clothing provided by the Company.
  • Report any maintenance requirements such as light bulb replacement, leaking wash basins etc.
  • Ensure safety in the workplace and in this respect ensuring compliance with all instructions relating to the use and storage of materials/equipment necessary for the performance of his/her tasks.
  • Follow health and safety policies and procedures at all times.

Required Knowledge and Work Experience
