Financial Controller


Alfred H Knight has an exciting opportunity for a Financial Controller to join our team in Moerdijk, Netherlands.

Due to company growth, an exciting opportunity has arisen to work within the finance function which forms part of a global finance team. The role may involve travel to our regional sites and UK head office. The role is a great opportunity to broaden your ‘business partnering’ skills as you will work closely with our regional financial controller.

To perform a variety of accounting and finance related tasks, including being the main contact for the coordination of monthly management accounts. Ensuring that we report accurate monthly management accounts in a timely manner and be a key contact for our UK head office. Ensuring that our reports are both consistent and adheres to local GAAP, group policies and procedures.

The role of Financial Controller will require good technical accounting knowledge, but also provides the opportunity to develop business partnering and management skills. This is truly a role which allow the right calibre of individual to develop within a growing organisation.

To be successful at Alfred H Knight you will need to display the following:

  • Up to date knowledge of legislation.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft office including excellent excel skills.

  • Communication: Excellent written and oral communication skills.


Required Work Experience 

  • Experience of working in a similar role preferably for 5 years.
  • Experience of working with different software systems.


Required Qualifications 

  • Education: You have completed a financial education of at least level 5.


Required Languages 

  • English.
  • Dutch.
