Group Compliance Manager

Alfred H Knight (AHK) has an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and skilled Group Compliance Manager to join our Risk & Compliance team. Based in our North West offices, this role reports directly to the Head of Risk and Compliance, offering a unique opportunity for substantial interaction with AHK’s senior leadership.

In this role, you will play a pivotal part in upholding trust as a core value in all client interactions, promoting a culture of compliance throughout the organisation. Since its establishment in 2021, the AHK Risk & Compliance function has been integral in guiding our people to achieve and maintain the highest standards of global trust.

 

Your contributions will be essential in supporting the team’s focus areas, which include:

  • Policies & Procedures.
  • Training & Awareness.
  • Assurance.
  • Processes, Programs & Projects.
  • Advisory Services.
  • Internal Auditing.

 

AHK is now looking for an ambitious and highly skilled compliance professional to join their Risk & Compliance function (non-client facing). This opportunity is aimed at management level and reports directly to the Head of Risk and Compliance and will have considerable exposure to AHK’s senior management. The successful candidate will be located at its North West Offices.

Required Work Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years experience in a Compliance Role.
  • Experience in the TIC sector (desirable but not essential)
  • Geographical awareness and cultural sensitivity. Proven ability to adapt to new industries/ environments and workplace cultures.
  • Leadership of and/or participation in projects and/or programmes.
  • Worked within an international matrix organisation, working across multiple countries, time zones and functions.
  • Have experience in working with and managing a broad cross-section of people in terms of varied levels of seniority and cultural backgrounds.
  • Evidence of having embraced new challenges, quickly familiarising oneself with a new company in terms of company organisation structure, business goals and internal/ external stakeholders.
