Human Resources Manager

WHAT IS ON OFFER

Alfred H Knight has an exciting opportunity for a Human Resources Manager to join our team, based at Potosi, Bolivia. Working within the Human Resources department, this role will support Alfred H Knight and its people to achieve our business aims, by having the right people, in the right place, at the right time, with the right skills.

As Human Resources Manager, you will provide a key interface between HR and the designated global client group to embed a strategic approach to Human Resources. Working in partnership with both managers and employees, you will provide professional, customer focused HR advice and solutions, in order to support and build AHK and our people’s capabilities. This role will also have a strong talent development focus, ensuring the success of AHK’s global talent and leadership development approach.

REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND WORK EXPERIENCE

 

Essential 

  • Communication: Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to
    present clear, well-structured reports. A confident presenter with the ability to
    influence at a senior level.
  • Quality: Taking a ‘right first time’ approach, completing work to a high standard,
    continually looking for improvements and showcasing strong problem solving skills.
  • Project management: Taking responsibility for initiating and completing tasks,
    managing priorities and successfully meeting deadlines, with the ability to deal with
    multiple varied projects at any one time.
  • Managing uncertainty: Handling pressure and ambiguity well, exercising good
    judgement and dealing with challenges in a flexible and mature manner.
  • Critical thinking: Demonstrating strong critical thinking skills, decisive judgement
    and the ability to work with minimal supervision.

    within the HR team and more widely.

Required Work Experience

  • A demonstrable track record of progression within a relevant HR function in a
    complex structure.
  • A demonstrable experience of managing projects and delivering successful
    outcomes.
  • Demonstrable experience of developing innovative approaches to complex
    problems.

 

Required Qualifications

  • Technical and/or graduate in Business Administration, Psychology or related field.
  • Medium knowledge of Software’s such as the Google platform.

 

Languages

  • Desirable medium to advanced level of English.

 

Travel Requirements

  • Travelling within the country.
  • Overseas travel on occasion.
