Junior Insurance Officer

WHAT IS ON OFFER

Alfred H Knight has an exciting opportunity for a Junior Insurance Officer to join our Risk Department based at our Headquarters in Liverpool, UK. In this role, you will develop a fundamental understanding of insurance and risk through on the job training and an 18 month apprenticeship. We do not require relevant experience, this is an opportunity to start a career in insurance with a market leading provider in inspection and analytical services.

DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES?

To be successful at Alfred H Knight you will need to display the following:

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND WORK EXPERIENCE

Essential Skills

  • Strong relationship building and interpersonal skills with the ability to demonstrate a collaborative work ethic and work well within a team
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal
  • Results oriented and focused on delivering defined KPI’s
  • The ability to apply solid analytical skills to support recommendations
  • The ability to work in a cross-functional environment with an appreciation of varying professional disciplines
  • The ability to work to defined timescales and manage multiple tasks, responding effectively to changing priorities
  • IT literate to intermediate level of Google applications or equivalent

 

Required Qualifications

  • A minimum of 5 GCSE equivalent qualifications including English, Maths & Science (Grades A-C or 4 or above)

 

Work Experience

  • Previous experience within the testing and analysis industry is desirable

 

Languages

  • Fluency in English is essential
  • Other languages e.g. Spanish are advantageous

 

Travel Requirements

  • Occasional overseas travel may be required
