Alfred H Knight has an exciting opportunity for a laboratory administrator to join our Precious Metal Department based in Lea Green. In this role, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to a busy laboratory team. As part of the job, you would have to carry out office administration tasks and use various laboratory instruments.

Responsibilities
File assay cards ensuring accuracy at all times.
Archive samples on a regular basis ensuring accuracy at all times.
To complete the Dore inventory and pre analysis scanning.
Order consumables when necessary.
Compile data and oven profile ensuring accuracy at all times.
Regularly update turnaround dates in the Laboratory systems.
Review all training records and advise when reviews are necessary.
Compile statistics regarding Weighers.
Complete carding up, including LIMS.
To complete Prill scans and associated calculations, XEPOS scans for anode slimes and catalyst.
Database management (i.e. data accuracy) in accordance with the Company policy and procedures.
Undertake responsibilities to ensure the consistency of the quality of services provided to clients; contributing and providing input to enhancements in systems to improve effectiveness and efficiency of such services.
To undertake other duties of an appropriate nature in consultation with the Line Manager.

Experience within an office administration environment.
GCSE Grade A – C English, Maths and Science.

Working knowledge of quality services and the factors involved in delivering a quality service.
