Laboratory Technician – Lea Green

What is on offer?

We have an opportunity for a Laboratory Technician to join our team at Lea Green.  The Laboratory technician is responsible for carrying out analytical methods and standard operating procedures without supervision to a high degree of precision and accuracy, ensuring that an effective high quality analytical service is provided to meet reporting deadlines on the various types of samples / commodities submitted to the laboratory for analytical testing.

Do you have what it takes?

  • Able to understand laboratory procedures, techniques and associated equipment.
  • Able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Good communication, interpersonal skills and ability to inform others.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Demonstrate a high degree of manual dexterity.
  • Good organisational skills.
  • Willing, cooperative and able to be trained and follow instructions.

Hours of work – Monday – Friday alternating shifts – Wk 1 06:00 – 13:30, Wk 2 13:30 – 20:00
