We have an exciting opportunity for a Learning and Development Content Creator to join our Team based in Prescot. The successful candidate will produce high-quality e-learning, explainer video content and other digital media for AHK’s new learning experience platform and other systems which will be used globally.

Do you have what it takes?


  • Planning and producing creative projects from beginning to end, from initial brief and script development to final delivery.
  • Editing and producing video content
  • Managing multiple content projects
  • Creating content briefs for internal stakeholders and externals agencies to follow
  • Understanding AHK Brand, using and referring to the brand guidelines when creating content
  • Working closely with subject matter experts (SMEs) and academic colleagues, you will be responsible for designing and creating interactive and engaging online learning content  which will be accessed by a wide range of team members around the world.
  • Working in accordance to “house style”
  • This is a creative and varied role where you will be encouraged to contribute recommendations for content development and improvements to all areas of learning technology.
  • Supporting targets and deadlines of creating content
  • Supporting the creation of an open communication culture.
  • Keeping accurate, up-to-date records
  • Delivering reports on progress of multiple projects
  • Driving own Continuous Professional Development (CPD) in line with requirements of current / future roles
  • Keeping abreast of changing practices within the industry, along with evolving business requirements

To be successful at Alfred H Knight, you will need to display the following:



  • Using Adobe Suite and other creative tools  to create online learning content (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Audition etc).
  • Using professional lighting and recording equipment to film demonstrations and talking heads; knowledge of three point lighting system, familiarity filming using Canon dSLRs.
  • Recording audio for voiceovers and talking heads, using lavalier and fixed mics.
  • Editing audio and video
  • Design and motion graphic skills using After Effects to produce 2D animation and graphics, including the ability to build new or edit existing assets.
  • A high level of written and spoken English
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Self-motivated with demonstrated ability to work remotely,  take appropriate initiative, manage multiple tasks, establish work priorities, and balance competing priorities and deadlines
  • Good understanding of current web technologies, trends and developments.
  • Acts as an effective role-model, including self-awareness, self-management and professionalism.
  • Strong decision-maker with a proven track record of analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to organise own work / effective time management skills.
  • Ability to work flexibly


  • Project Management skills.
  • Strong Spanish speaking and writing skills
  • Previous Learning and Development experience
  • Using a Virtual Learning Environment to build online learning activities/modules
  • Qualification to degree level in multimedia or related design discipline
  • Familiar with:
  • Recognised web usability and accessibility standards
  • Learning Experience Platforms
