Learning and Development Coordinator

Alfred H Knight has an exciting opportunity for an L&D Coordinator to be a champion of learner engagement by ensuring that all administrative aspects of the learning cycle (learning needs analysis, design, delivery, evaluation) including data are well organised and accessible for all stakeholders and therefore don’t get in the way of learners and their management.

DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES?

To be successful at Alfred H Knight you will need to display the following:

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND WORK EXPERIENCE

 

Essential

  • Act as a key point of contact for stakeholders on the administration of training activities, signposting other queries appropriately.
  • Administer internal and external training activities effectively and efficiently, including contracting with providers, running the L&D calendar, running nomination/attendance/record keeping/evaluation processes, including relevant use of our digital learning platform, setting up training spaces, and producing training materials.
  • Support the generation of management information as needed.
  • Support the development of learning resources as needed.

 

Required Competencies

  • Understands how L&D can contribute to business success/genuinely interested in how people learn & develop.
  • Intermediate IT skills, specifically on Google Sheets/Excel and Google Docs/Word.
  • Can work well independently and as part of a team.
  • Continuous Improvement mindset.
  • Strong communicator verbally and in writing with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Must have robust English grammar to enable high-quality copy editing as required.

 

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of English and Maths GCSE Grade C/5 or equivalent.

 

Required Languages

  • Second language preferable, particularly Spanish or Mandarin.
