LIMS Application Support Analyst

WHAT IS ON OFFER

Alfred H Knight has an exciting opportunity for a LIMS Application Support Analyst to join our team in Liverpool, UK.

Key responsibilities include the implementation of operational LIMS changes in AHK laboratories, whilst identifying and resolving complex LIMS problems that arise. You will collaborate with technical teams in the Group’s IT department, often coordinating the resolution of 4th line support issues with technical subject matter experts. On a day-to-day basis you will resolve LIMS incidents and process LIMS service requests to ensure operational stability in the Group’s laboratories.

DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES?

To be successful at Alfred H Knight you will need to display the following:

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND WORK EXPERIENCE 

 

Required Competencies

  • SQL querying skills (desirable).
  • Application bug diagnostics (desirable).
  • Log analysis.
  • Debugging.

 

Required Work Experience

  • Previous experience in 2nd/3rd line application support role (desirable).
  • Experience using/supporting LIMS applications in a laboratory environment.
  • Experience using tools such as Halo ITSM, Asana and Google Apps.
  • Experience working in the metals and minerals industry (desirable).

 

Required Qualifications

  • Educated to degree level (high grade) or above.
  • ITIL knowledge (Certification desirable).
