Marketing and Communications Coordinator

WHAT IS ON OFFER

Alfred H Knight has an exciting opportunity for a Marketing and Communications Coordinator to join our  Marketing Team based in Prescot. This role will support the activities of the Marketing and Communications  function.

The role holder will be responsible for assisting with the delivery and implementation of all  marketing and communication activities for the business with a primary focus on Digital Marketing and  Website Development. As part of the Marketing Team, the role holder will be an advocate for the company’s  marketing and communications projects.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND WORK EXPERIENCE

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Working with colleagues to plan, research and deliver digital marketing campaigns
  • Project managing, coordinating and updating relevant Asana boards
  • Building email campaigns and providing analysis and suggestions for improvement
  • Assist with marketing content creation
  • Drive social media channels in line with the corporate culture and communication strategy
  • Proof checking and editing content produced within other functions
  • Researching new online opportunities that will benefit AHK, which includes their website,  competitor analysis as well as social media
  • Support with the implementation and delivery of campaigns and website development
  • Provide administrative, technical and project support for digital marketing activities such as SEO,  website and intranet
  • Helping to document and share digital marketing processes and knowledge through the creation  and distribution of SOP’s, training notes and user guides, as well as coaching users via video calls  and face to face when needed
  • Monitor, analyse and report on online initiatives through a variety of tools and processes, including  Google Analytics
  • Provide support and maintain good relationships with all AHK Functions and Overseas offices.
  • Provide support to the Marketing & Communications Teams and the wider Group Sales & Marketing function.

 

Required Knowledge, Skills and Behaviours 

  • Experience using Word press, Google Analytics, Mailchimp, Canva and LinkedIn
  • Working knowledge Adobe suite – not required but preferred
  • Be able to manage and build relationships across multiple functions and global territories
  • Excellent attention to detail, have strong written and verbal communication skills and be proactive,  self-motivated and organised
  • Work well in fast-paced environment

 

Required Work Experience 

  • Minimum 1 years experience in a marketing based role

 

Required Qualifications 

  • Minimum Level 5 CIM Qualification preferred or equivalent
  • Minimum grade A-C ( or equivalent) GCSE in English, Maths, Science
