Marketing and Communications Graduate Programme 2022

Your New Team

The Marketing and Communications team sits within the Sales and Marketing Business Unit, whose purpose is to drive the strategic growth of AHK globally. The role of Marketing and Communications Graduate is to define and implement a global Marketing strategy for the AHK Group and provide informative and engaging communications (internally and externally) through relevant channels. Your Programme

In your first twelve months as an Alfred H Knight Marketing & Communications Graduate you will complete the following learning pathway and develop the knowledge and skills that are required to contribute within a global marketing and communications function. During this time you will be based out of our Head Office in Knowsley, Merseyside.

 

Your Learning Pathway

On the job training will cover some/all of the following: 

• Digital Marketing
• Content Writing & Production
• Campaign Management
• Event Management
• Project Management
• Internal Communications
• Brand & Corporate Identity

 

On completion of your programme

You could be assigned to one of our global offices to support the Marketing and Communications strategy.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Behaviours (essential)

• Positive, can do attitude
• Keen interest in Marketing, Digital Marketing or Communications
• Ability to work within a fast pace environment and contribute to the success of the department
• Be creative in your approach, and confident to share ideas
• High attention to detail and organisational skills
• Ability to work independently but a part of a team
• Want to develop a career within a Global Marketing Environment
• Willingness to travel and relocate to one of our global offices

Required Experience (desirable) 

• Previous experience working with a technical / scientific environment
• Producing content for internal or external digitals channels
• Experience using intranet and CMS/wordpress, mailchimp or similar
• Working knowledge of Canva to produce digital content or similar

Required Qualifications (essential)

• Minimum grade A-C ( or equivalent) GCSE in English, Maths, Science
• CIM (Level 6 or above) or Degree (minimum 2:1) in Marketing, Communications, Media, Journalism, Business related subject.

Language Requirements 

• Fluent in English and Spanish
