Operational Graduate Programme

WHAT IS ON OFFER

Alfred H Knight has an exciting opportunity for an Operational Graduate to join our team based in Ecuador, Quito. This is perfect for those who are looking to develop their skills and build a long-term career with a company at the forefront of the TIC (Testing, Inspection, Certification) industry, operating within the metals, minerals, solid fuels and agricultural sectors.

Initially based in LATAM, the role will involve an extensive development programme. During this time you will spend time learning about AHK, working within, and gaining an understanding of our local operations. You may also, depending on your role experience, travel and gain exposure to a variety of other overseas entities including the UK. This experience, coupled with your drive, will open up further opportunities. Other candidates that have followed a similar programme have taken up technical, operational and management roles across the Group.

Required Personal Qualities

Required Educational Background

  • A University degree in a relevant area including but not exclusive to; Science, Metallurgy, Geology, Mining, Mineralogy, Engineering and Logistics.

 

Work Experience

  • Previous internship or initial professional work experience in a commercial environment is desirable.

 

Languages

  • Fluency in English and Spanish is essential.
  • Other languages (e.g. Mandarin, Japanese, French) are advantageous.

 

Travel

  • Travel as required, both domestically and internationally.
  • Must have a valid passport and the ability to obtain visas when necessary.
