Alfred H Knight has an exciting opportunity for a Product Manager to join our team based in Liverpool. You will be expected to manage AHK’s Product team, covering all aspects of people management and is responsible for the product development lifecycle for AHK’s in-house developed products.
The Product Owner will be responsible for a team of five, including Product Owner(s), UI/UX and Product Technical Writers. The successful candidate will work closely with the IT leadership team to develop and maintain an appropriate product strategy. You will act as the lead contact between the scrum team and business/client stakeholders, communicating the vision for the product through the roadmap and acting as the voice of the customer throughout the SDLC process.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND WORK EXPERIENCE
Responsibilities
Leading AHK’s Product team, ensuring the team delivers quality software products for AHK and its clients.
Responsible for identifying and supporting the development of members of the Product team.
Plan resources for the Product team, reviewing and communicating project resource allocation with the PMO and business stakeholders.
Ensures the AHK team is kept up to date with product management best practices.
Defines and communicates the product strategy and roadmap, in alignment with the IT and business strategy.
Manage AHK’s in-house developed products throughout their lifecycle, to ensure it meets stakeholder and client requirements.
Develop AHK’s in-house products using insights from research, data and client behaviour.
Manages the refinement and prioritisation of all of AHK’s in-house developed product backlogs, in line with best practice.
Manage stakeholder expectations around delivery of product development and implementation schedules.
Perform ROI analysis on AHK’s in-house developed products and their features, presenting the results to IT and business leaders.
Manages and coordinates releases for AHK’s in-house developed products.
Liaise with 3rd party vendors and clients where necessary for integration projects concerning AHK’s in-house developed products.
Manage technical documentation and delivery of tutorials/guides for AHK’s in-house developed products.
Lead design workshops to solutionise business requirements.
Deliver demonstrations of the product increment and lead sprint review sessions to gather feedback on the features developed.
Clearly define product requirements and work closely with UI/UX team to ensure the product UI/UX is aligned to the product goals.
To undertake other duties of an appropriate nature.

Required Work Experience
2+ years experience in a Product Manager role or similar.
Any industry experience in Metals & Minerals, Agriculture, Energy or Circular Economy (preferred).
Required Qualifications
Educated to degree level (high grade) or above.
Product Management certifications (preferred).
