Project Leader

WHAT IS ON OFFER

Alfred H Knight has an exciting opportunity for a Project Leader to join our Energy Services division. As a Project Leader, you will be responsible for managing all technical operations of the business and client liaison. In this role, you will ensure that the quality of service is maintained with regard to sample preparation, sampling, consulting, surveying and inspection activity services. In addition, you will provide technical advice and support across all fuels streams to ensure that an efficient and high quality service is provided in order to meet required internationally recognised standards.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND WORK EXPERIENCE

 

Essential

  • The ability to work to agreed business and personal objectives, effectively manage manpower, evaluate operational requirements and determine logical conclusions based on experience and methodologies.
  • Experience of working in a client facing role, with excellent customer service skills and technical knowledge.
  • Highly organised with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to clearly inform others.
  • Excellent administrative skills with experience of writing reports.
  • Highly motivated, with the ability to work on own initiative in a dynamic work environment with changing priorities and build strong relationships both internally and externally.
  • Strong quality focus with a strive for excellence.

 

Required Competencies

  • Highly proficient IT skills – Microsoft and Google
  • Full competency and understanding of Citrix
  • Good numeracy skills

 

Required Work Experience

  • Experience managing a team
  • Minimum 5 year experience of inspection and sample preparation analysis, in particular working with coal/biomass and RDF business streams

 

Required Qualifications

  • Qualification in Engineering or Laboratory testing
  • 3 year experience working with multiple management level

 

Additional Requirements

  • A period of six months training in Rotherham is required
  • Travel both domestically and internationally is required
