Project Manager – Finance

WHAT IS ON OFFER

Alfred H Knight has an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager.

This is a key role for Group Finance, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing projects across the Finance team. The Project Accountant will work closely with the finance team both in the UK and Overseas.

Since 2018 AHK have been rolling Infor Sun Systems out across the Group, the project has been a huge success in bringing standardisation in accounting and financial reporting. So far the system has been implemented in Europe, Asia and Africa, the project is currently being implemented in The Americas. There is a need for continual development of the finance systems to help the finance team manage the growth of the business. There are a number of finance projects in place currently being managed by a range of staff.

Essential 

  • Project experience essential.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong Computing skills essential.
  •  Proactive and positive mind set with the ability to work with a broad range of people and skill sets.
  • Organisational skills with the ability to prioritise, plan and manage workload to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work under pressure and strict deadlines.

 

Required Work Experience

  • Managing Project Delivery for the finance and systems teams.
  • Manage individual projects as required.
  • Assist with instilling better project disciplines.
  • Create usable project frameworks.
  • Assist with defining project scope, goals and deliverables.
  • Building and maintaining professional relationships.
  • Present to stakeholders reports on progress.
  • Experience with Infor Sun Systems, Eclipse Sharperlight, Professional Advantage B4B, Finansys Workflow Apps & MTD.
