Alfred H Knight has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Marketing Coordinator to join our Marketing Team based in Prescot. This fixed term role will support the Head of Marketing and Communications (HMC) in the delivery of the Group’s Marketing and Communications Strategy, your primary focus is to ensure effective marketing campaign delivery and support for the AHK Divisions; Metals & Minerals, Energy Services, Circular Economy and Agriculture.
You will oversee the planning, execution and operations of AHK’s marketing campaigns and initiatives, marketing tech/automation tools, SEO, paid media advertising, and performance tracking, analysis and reporting.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND WORK EXPERIENCE
Key Responsibilities
Support the development and execution of marketing campaigns and activity plans using the optimum marketing mix to deliver the divisions’ growth objectives.
To manage the development and optimisation of the AHK Group website. Managing SEO and paid social adverts/media activity, working closely with the partner agencies to implement, optimise and report on performance.
To manage, monitor, analyse and produce key marketing metrics, sharing these via the dashboard/reports that measure the performance of the marketing activity.
Executing marketing activities effectively using current martech.
Manage and support the annual Event Schedule ensuring effective communication and marketing activities are executed.
Line managing Marketing Coordinators ensuring their effective contribution to the team and continuous development and collaborating with Brand & Design and Internal Communications Personnel.
Support the HMC with ad hoc projects as required.
Working with stakeholders to plan, research and deliver marketing campaigns
Develop, coordinate and manage external and internal webinars, which could be across multiple countries
Project managing via Asana boards
Manage and drive social media channels in line with the corporate culture and communication strategy
Proof checking and editing content produced within the Marketing team and other functions, providing constructive feedback when needed
Manage the day to day organisation of the team
Provide support and maintain good relationships with all AHK Functions and Overseas offices.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Behaviours
Experience using Word press, Google Analytics, Mailchimp, Canva, Asana and LinkedIn – experience with CRM such as Hub spot is desirable
Be able to manage and build relationships across multiple functions and global territories
Excellent attention to detail, have strong written and verbal communication skills and be proactive, self-motivated and organised
Thrive in a fast-paced environment
Task / Project Management and prioritisation skills – must be able to manage multiple projects and campaigns with dynamic deadlines and changing priorities.
Able to look at the ‘bigger picture’ and consider all possibilities
Be conscious of cultural differences when marketing in different countries
Required Work Experience
Minimum 1 + years experience in a senior marketing or management role / Mentor experience
Experience working with a range of key stakeholders
Required Qualifications
Educated to a degree level/CIM in Marketing/Digital Marketing
Project Management Qualification desirable
Travel / Rotation Requirements
This role may require occasional travel nationally/internationally for meetings/events/training and development and some flexibility in working hours when liaising with overseas offices.
