Alfred H Knight has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Operations Manager to join our Energy Services division, based in Rotherham. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations at our Rotherham site and managing our field-based waste business, with additional support provided to the Olympic Park waste operations. Your focus will be on ensuring the efficient, effective, and high-quality delivery of weighing, sampling, consulting, and inspection services, meeting client deadlines and priorities.
You will play a key role in supporting and developing the Rotherham and field-based teams, driving staff development and facilities expansion within the UK. Additionally, you will assist the Business Operations Manager in managing operations related to solid fuel streams across the wider group. As the solid fuels division experiences significant growth, your role will be pivotal in advancing initiatives, particularly in the biomass, RDF, and SRF industries, both in the UK and internationally. This position requires flexibility for both UK and international travel.
