We have an opportunity for a Trainee Site Services Operative to join our Alfred H Knight Energy Service Ltd team based in Dundonald, Scotland. The primary responsibility of the Trainee Site Services Operative will be to assist the Administration Manager where required to ensure that general record keeping and all documentation is kept up to date, supporting administration operations and general maintenance ensuring safety at all times.

  • Assisting the Admin Manager to liaise with the Administration teams and Operations Managers to ensure subcontracting work is carried out specific to customers’ requirements.
  • Assisting the Admin Manager to ensure maintenance of UKAS related documentation and administration information in agreement with the Group Quality & Technical Manager such that it is clearly and easily auditable and traceable.
  • Ensuring that all maintenance requirements are dealt with for all Scottish facilities and contractors are appointed if required.
  • Ensuring compliance with all Company Health, Safety & Environmental procedures as instructed.
  • Maintaining a professional standard and appearance at all times during working hours and whilst promoting the company on company business.
  • Assisting the Admin Manager to ensure that all Laboratory equipment is maintained in a working and calibrated state, organising maintenance where necessary.
  • Perform minor tasks in relation to maintaining site facilities where necessary.
  • Ensure the documented cleaning schedule is followed depending on daily requirement and with guidance from Administration Manager.
  • Assisting the Administration Manager to arrange courier collections from and to client sites or other AHK offices.
  • To undertake other tasks of an appropriate nature as instructed by the Admin Manager
