Field Operations Sampler

WHAT IS ON OFFER

Alfred H Knight has an exciting opportunity for a Field Operations Sampler to join our team in Immingham, UK.  In this role, you will work as part of the field/shipping team, undertaking cargo sampling (mechanical or manual)  and sample preparation duties in line with AHK energy services methods and procedures. You will carry out Biomass/ Solid Fuel sampling at client sites, prepare samples for analysis and take cargo samples in line with relevant methods and procedures.

Shift Pattern – 182 hours per month, which could fall on any day of the week on a flexible shift working rota.

Required Competencies

  • Highly motivated with the ability to work on own initiative in a dynamic work environment with changing priorities

 

Required Work Experience

  • Experience of working in shipping/ports

 

Required Qualifications

  • Valid UK Driving Licence

 

Travel 

  • Travel may be required to work between various AHK locations to support business needs.
  • You must be prepared to work in other locations where overnight stays may be required.
