Our Learning and Development team recently brought this philosophy to life through a special UK Apprenticeship Morning, designed to inspire collaboration, creativity, and growth among our apprentices.

Bringing UK Apprentices Together Through Collaboration and Creativity

Held across our headquarters, based in Liverpool, the UK Apprenticeship Morning was all about connection and teamwork. The event kicked off with a lively game of Human Bingo, an energetic icebreaker that encouraged apprentices to network, discover common interests, and learn more about each other’s roles at AHK.

After the icebreaker, apprentices were divided into teams for a series of quick-fire challenges. This helped test their knowledge about AHK’s departments. These activities highlighted how learning and development thrive through shared understanding and curiosity.

Building a Culture of Trust and Growth Through UK Apprenticeships

The morning concluded with an interactive scavenger hunt, where teams worked together to crack riddles and clues.

“All the activities were really fun and engaging,” said Hollie Bennison, one of our apprentices. “It was great to meet others from different buildings and learn about their apprenticeships.”

Beyond the laughter, the event reinforced AHK’s commitment to nurturing talent and creating a culture built on trust, collaboration and continuous learning. 

“I enjoyed meeting apprentices I wouldn’t usually cross paths with,” added Louis Rose. “The icebreaker was a great way to start the day.”
