Alfred H Knight is pleased to announce that our UK Inspection Body has achieved UKAS accreditation to BS EN ISO/IEC 17020:2012, the international standard for the operation of inspection bodies.

This accreditation specifically covers our inspection activities for ferrous and minor metals, non-ferrous metals, ferroalloys, scrap, and precious metals, whilst covering a range of activities, including inspection of Load and Discharge, as well as general weighing, sampling and moisture determination services.

We are proud to be the first inspection company to receive UKAS accreditation for this specific scope, setting a benchmark for quality and professionalism in the sector.

BS EN ISO/IEC 17020:2012 sets rigorous requirements for the organisation, competence and adherence to operational procedures (SOPs), ensuring that inspections are delivered with integrity, impartiality and technical excellence.

For our UK operations, this confirms that AHK applies consistent standards to every client, operates with full independence to avoid conflicts of interest, and delivers results backed by highly trained personnel and proven inspection methods.
