Alfred H Knight will be attending and presenting at the International Electronics Reuse and Recycling Congress (IERC) in Valencia, Spain, on 21-23 January.

This year’s event brings together stakeholders from across the electronics reuse and recycling sector to discuss developments in electronics recycling, advances in circularity, and collaboration across the materials recycling value chain.

Alfred H Knight provides independent sampling, inspection, and analytical services to support recyclers, reprocessors, and traders in understanding the composition of electronic scrap. Our services support informed decision-making by enabling accurate evaluation of the payable and penalty elements contained within waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE).

AHK will be represented by John Moulding, Senior Commercial Manager – PGM/PM Materials; Tim Johnson, Business Development Manager – Circular Economy; Chihiro Anzai-Vernaudon, Commercial Manager – Non-Ferrous Materials; and Omar Amri, Technical Representative. The team will be available throughout the event to discuss materials, processes, and how AHK’s services support operational and commercial decision-making.

As a Gold Sponsor of IERC 2026, Omar Amri has been invited to deliver a presentation titled “Advanced phase characterisation of payable and penalty metallic components in electronic scrap at different stages of preparation.” The presentation will explore how detailed material characterisation supports more accurate valuation and processing strategies across the recycling chain.
