Operations Graduate

WHAT IS ON OFFER

Alfred H Knight has an exciting opportunity for an Operations Graduate looking to develop their skills and build a long-term career with a Company at the forefront of the TIC (Testing, Inspection, Certification) industry, operating within the metals, minerals and solid fuel sectors.

Based in the South Africa region, the role will involve a Fixed-Term 18 months development programme. During which you will spend time learning about AHK, working within, and gaining an understanding of our Global Operations. You may also experience travel to a variety of our entities across Africa, depending on your role. This experience, coupled with your drive, will open up further opportunities in the Group. Other candidates that have followed a similar programme have taken up technical, operational and management roles both in the UK and overseas.

Required Qualifications

  • A minimum of 2 years of work experience in the mining, laboratory field, or B-Tech/BSc degree with a major in Metallurgy, Chemical Engineering, or Operations Management.

 

Required Languages

  • Fluency in English is essential.

 

Travel Requirements

  • During the Fixed Term 18-month programme – you will live in three different countries across the Africa region. You will be expected to travel both domestically and internationally.
  • Must have a valid passport and ability to obtain visas as necessary.
