Sample Preparer

WHAT IS ON OFFER

Alfred H Knight has an exciting opportunity for a Sample Preparer to join the team in Rustenburg. Your role will involve effectively preparing all received samples timeously as per Sample Preparations procedures to ensure a high degree of precision and accuracy is achieved from subsequent analytical procedures whilst complying with all SHEQ procedures.

DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES

To be successful at Alfred H Knight you will need to display the following:

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND WORK EXPERIENCE

 

Required Competencies

  • Ability to follow instructions accurately.
  • Good timekeeping and Attention to detail.
  • Effective interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to perform duties under pressure.
  • Good understanding of sample preparation processes.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • Computer Literacy – Microsoft Office.
  • Good customer service skills.
  • Honest, Sober Habits, Adaptable and Flexibility.
  • Must have good housekeeping skills.
  • Strict adherence to health and safety procedures.
  • Must be able to speak, read and write English fluently.
  • Basic knowledge and understanding of ISO17025 requirements.
  • No criminal record.

 

 Required work experience

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in Sample Preparation in Laboratory environment. (Advantageous).

 

Required Qualifications

  • Grade 12 (With Maths & Science)
